My Story

"I love what I do and I really believe that positive energy will carry on to you through my jewellery."

About Me

Brenda with jewelery

I’m Brenda, originally from Estonia, with roots in Ukraine, and now living in beautiful Australia. Crafting has always been a big part of my life, and when I moved here in 2019 with my partner Hans, I knew Australia would be more than just a temporary home.

I already did crafts as a kid, selling them at family gatherings off the hood of the car. I vividly remember when the first computers came to our home and I ordered crystals online to make them into jewelry. In fact, I still have some rose quartz pendants from that time!

Over the years, I’ve learned different styles and techniques under the guidance of an artist. I even studied to become a tailor stylist for a while, which helped me develop an eye for detail and design.

Of course, life happened too! We spent time traveling and exploring, but life brought me back to jewelry in mid-2022. It all started when I began creating earrings for an upcoming trip to Bali—one pair for each outfit, of course! Of course as crystals have been with me my whole life I knew they would be a part of my jewellery journey as well. Every piece I create is thoroughly thought out and each detail has a specific meaning. But then I absolutely fell in love with creating again and decided to share it with the world—thus Soulehe was born.

Today, Soulehe is all about bringing beauty, meaning, and positive energy into people’s lives through handmade jewelry. Thank you for being here and supporting my journey!

What does Soulehe mean?

The word Soulehe, if you can even call it a word, is like me, partly inspired by Australia and partly by Estonia. The name was created in cooperation with my partner Hans. The first part is Soul - Every piece of jewellery carries within itself a little piece of the crafters soul. I love what I do and I really believe that positive energy will carry on to you through my jewellery.

The second part is Ehe. It is an Estonian word with two different meanings. One of them actually just means jewellery, which is convenient. The other meaning, maybe even the more important one, is genuine or pure. I only craft my jewellery in a limited quantity to increase the uniqueness of each piece and to create as many different designs as I can.

We try to do everything in a very genuine way and be transparent and sustainable. The last piece of our brand are the little stars in our logo. You might have even missed them. They are not just small design pieces. They represent the star sign of Taurus. Which is my star sign and the one that the idea of Soulehe was born under.

So come on this journey of art, design, beauty and soul with me. I know you will love it!
