My recommendation is to choose crystals based on your intuition. The piece of jewellery that is drawing you in at the moment is the exact one you need at that moment in time. When I first started in this world, I would spend hours reading up on every single crystal, and in the end, I did not remember what I wanted and everything was just a mess. There is an immense amount of information for every crystal, and catching up on every single crystal to start with is just too much.

You can choose the crystals based on your star sign. Some crystals work better with certain constellations, but all of the crystals still work with everyone.

I have been fascinated with crystals ever since I was young. They have been pulling me in like magnets, and I have always bought bracelets and stones based on what I liked. Later, looking at what the crystals and stones do, I almost fell over. It was exactly the energy that I was looking for. How did I know? Your subconscious/intuition knows what you need. We all have that magnet inside ourselves that guides us exactly to the right crystal. We are also influenced by different colors. If the green "speaks" to you at the moment and you have a lot of green things, then those are the energies you lack and need in your life. Have a look and listen to yourself.

If you have bought a piece of jewellery with crystals or just a crystal on its own, it would be good if you activate it with your energy. If you bought the crystal somewhere other than Soulehe and it was not specified that it has been cleansed you should cleanse the crystal before activating it. Put the piece of jewellery into your left hand or hold it with both hands and think happy thoughts. If you have a specific wish to give then repeat that in your mind. Do this exactly as many times as you see fit and feels right. If you feel right after saying your wish one time or if you do it 10 times, there is no right or wrong here. After this, you can start wearing the crystal.

Remember, the left hand is the hand that takes and the right one is the hand that gives. If you want to get the energy then wear it in your left hand. If you want to give, for example, love with crystals, wear them on your right hand

But it is a good idea to cleanse your crystals from time to time. There are a lot of ways how to do it, and here are some. I use all of them but numbers 1 and 2 are my favourites!

1. Selenite - It is a crystal that cleanses and charges other crystals. I have a jewellery plate where I keep my crystal jewellery with a stick of selenite. You can shop for Selenite here! Also, we have a Selenite bowl for your jewellery here!

2. Full moon - This one is my favourite. When there is a full moon gather up your crystals and put them on a window sill or wherever the moon can shine on it. The light from the moon will cleanse and charge your crystals.

3. Palo Santo - Burning and using the smoke of the Palo Santo tree sticks is a good way to cleanse your crystals at home. You can learn more and shop for it here!

4. Incense - Put your jewellery on a plate or bowl and put the stick on the incense in the middle. Light it on fire with preferably matches and let it burn for 5-10 minutes and voila your crystals are cleansed.

Crystals should be cleansed of energies and charged from time to time. There is no a certain rule of how often to do it but we recommend doing it when you feel the time is right. Your intuition will know when this is.

Most of our jewellery is either gold or silver plated. That makes it possible to make affordable jewellery and is good for people with metallic allergies. For information on specific materials for a piece of jewellery check the "Materials" section under the product description

Some pieces use Brass. Brass is not suitable for people with sensitive skin, please use caution.

We take pride in good craftsmanship but all of these pieces are delicate. Therefore we recommend removing jewellery before doing very active activities. We recommend removing all jewellery before swimming or showering as removing them will insure you will have a beautiful piece of jewellery longer and it will not tarnish.

Many of the crystals and gemstones we use are porous, meaning their colour and brightness can change over time due to humidity, perfumes, and cosmetics.

We also include a polishing cloth with all our jewellery with any metal (Silver, Gold, Stainless Steel) pieces. We recommend giving all the jewellery a good polish once a month to keep it as beautiful as the day you bought it!
